Cees Graafland
Cees has more than 15 years of experience. After completing his studies in tax law, he worked for 15 years in Amsterdam as a tax lawyer at leading international law firms, the main ones being Stibbe and Osborne Clarke. Cees has extensive tax experience with M&A, international structuring matters and real estate development as well as employee and management participation plans and other investment initiatives.
He has advised a wide range of clients, often large businesses (e.g. family‑owned companies and multinationals) as well as major shareholder/directors/investors and municipalities. His reason for leaving the Amsterdam Zuidas business district was to work more closely and on a recurring basis with entrepreneurs, major shareholder/directors and businesses.
Cees is a member of the Netherlands Bar Association (Dutch attorney-at-law) and a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers. He has registered the following principal area of law in the Netherlands Bar Association’s register of areas of law:

In addition, Cees is a lecturer at Utrecht University, where he teaches Tax Law.
